Fall in love with Pumpkin Cookies

cookiesIt’s not hard to get in the mood for fall when there are so many great things around us- leaves changing, the air becoming more crisp, the abundance of turkeys at the grocery store… and it’s even more delightful to accept fall’s arrival with these pumpkin cookies!

This recipe comes from Cross-My-Heart Cards, Inc. owner Rosanne Beck.  Baking the Pumpkin Cookies has been a family tradition of hers for over 10 years, and we think it’s a great one!

Pumpkin Cookies Recipe

1 c. butter
1 c. sugarbatter
1 egg
1/2 can pumpkin
2 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. baking powder
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. salt
1 T. vanilla
6 oz. chocolate chips

Bowl #1: butter, sugar, egg, pumpkin

Bowl #2: Flour with next 4 ingredients.

Mix bowl #1 and bowl #2. Add chocolate chips, add vanilla.

Bake at 350 degrees for 13 minutes.
